Matt is the owner of Pet Supplies Plus and he has been a dog lover all of his life. He grew up with two miniature Schnauzers and a Boxer mix named Austin. “I am extremely excited to bring to Charlotte a community-based and locally owned neighborhood pet store! We pride ourselves in having the widest variety of natural and organic foods and Made in The USA treats in Charlotte—carrying nothing but the best for your family.” With over 10, 000 products in our store, we can meet any need you may have at any price point. However, more important to me than the products we carry is making you feel like we’ve known each other forever—like we’re neighbors. Stop by (with your pet of course!) to say hi, and let me know how I can help you. Matt grew up in the great state of Michigan in a small town on the coast of Lake Michigan. He attended Grand Valley State University for his undergraduate degree and then the University of Michigan for his graduate work. He enjoys trail running, biking, and being on the water in his hard-to-find spare time.

Roberts comes to Pet Supplies Plus with over 39 years of experience managing different big retails stores. He graduated from Georgia Southern University majoring in management. Robert worked his way to District Manager as he ran stores in Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia. For the last seven years Robert has turned his attention to working in his true calling, pets. He has a passion for helping pet parents make the right decision concerning the needs of their pets. It’s great to see customers happy with the product selection at Pet Supplies Plus.

Robert has been married for 30 years to Rhonda, another Georgia Peach. They have three children: Rachel, Rebeca, and Robbie. Their furry kid is a cocker spaniel named Gabbie.

Joe grew up in a small town outside of Lexington, NC and has been taking care of animals, large and small, his whole life. He joined the PSP team in 2015 and brings 13 years of pet retail experience with him. He graduated from the Southeastern Institute with a degree in Neuromuscular Therapy, but chose to stay in the world of pets because of his passion for animals. He lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, 3 dogs (Zeus, Jacob and Ben) and their 60 gallon fish tank.

Outside of work Joe enjoys staying active and participating in different sports and activities including baseball, boxing and weight lifting. He has also been known to run 5K events if it is for a good cause or charity.

Emily is a life-long pet lover and has cared for a wide variety of pets. From hamsters to horses, she has done it all! She began her career in the pet retail industry in 2009 as a cashier. Working her way up from an entry-level position to management has given her valuable experience in helping solve most problems faced by pet parents.She is especially passionate about pet nutrition and would love to talk to you about what your pet is eating! Emily has been with us since day one and knows our store inside and out. Come by and let her show you around!
