Specks Pet Supplies is an independent chain of neighborhood pet supply stores located in the central Indiana area. Specks is locally owned and operated and has been ever since we opened our first store in Avon, Indiana in 1990. Today, Specks boasts 12 stores in the Indianapolis and nearby surrounding areas.

We have experienced employees that are well versed in pet nutrition, pet care, and the products we carry. The majority of our employees have been with us for several years. They truly are animal lovers and experts!

Our stores are well stocked with a wide variety of foods, treats, and supplies to cater to all your pet’s needs. If there is something you need that you can’t find, ask us. Unlike many of our competitors, we are more than happy to special order any available item especially for you and your pet.

We do not sell cats or dogs but all of our stores work with local rescue groups and shelters. All of our locations have feline adoption programs with these local groups in-store. Additionally we have rescue groups visit periodically for “adoption days”. Check our website for upcoming dates.
