Attending a Golden State Greyhound Adoption 'Meet-and-Greet' is a greyt way for you to get a hands-on introduction to the breed, speak in person with adoption coordinators and get answers to any questions you may have.

Our greyhound schedule of events for 2017 keeps growing so please come back often and see our updated schedule. Below are the current Golden State Greyhound Adoption Meet-and-Greet events. For more information about each event including times, directions and contact numbers, just put your cursor on the event you are interested in and click.
Don't forget to check the morning of each event to see if there are any changes.

REDWOOD CITY PET FOOD EXPRESS RAIN CANCELS

Come see us at our Meet and Greet at Pet Food Express in Redwood City.
Meet Shelley and Jon along with her hounds, and many other families with their adopted greyhounds. Ask about the fun they have being part of our group and the wonderful experience they had adopting an ex racer.
Pet Food Express 372 Woodside Plaza Redwood City, in the Lucky Shopping Center.
Come join us and learn about the retired racing greyhounds.

OAKLAND ROCKRIDGE PET FOOD EXPRESS RAIN OR SHINE
1 pm to 3 pm
Come to our Meet and Greet in OAKLAND serving the Rockridge, Berkeley Oakland area. Meet Kristen and our volunteers along with their hounds.
Pet Food Express 5144 Broadway Oakland. The Pet Food Express is in the same shopping center as the Rockridge Safeway. You will see us right in front of the store with our greyhounds.
Come join us and learn about the retired racing greyhounds.

DANVILLE PET FOOD EXPRESS. RAIN or SHINE
12 NOON - 2 pm
Come meet Eileen and her volunteers and see our hounds at the Danville Pet Food Express in Danville. We will have our retired racing hounds there for you to see and learn about. Eileen and our volunteers will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the racing greyhound and how wonderful they will be in your home and as your new companion.
Danville Pet Food Express 609 San Ramon Valley Blvd Danville. Danville Town and Country Center next to Walgreen's.

Almaden Valley/South San Jose PET FOOD EXPRESS RAIN OR SHINE
12 noon to 3pm
Join us in Almaden Valley at the Pet Food Express to meet our volunteers Cathy, Stacey and their retired racing greyhounds. They will be happy to answer any questions you have and to share their own experiences since adopting these greyt hounds. Located at Pet Food Express 1152 Blossom Hill Road San Jose in the same shopping center as Whole Foods. LOOK FOR US OUT IN FRONT OF THE STORE NEAR THE ENTRANCE. In case of rain or cold, we'll be inside near the VIP clinic waiting area. Come join us and learn about the retired racing greyhounds.
